Welcome to Aly's Prom Closet

Family Counseling Service’s Executive Director, Stuart Gordon, created this program to give high school students donated dresses so they could attend their proms.  This program is named in honor of Aly Christiansen who was a student at UNLV at the time of her death. This successful program has expanded and currently provides gowns, shoes, jewelry, prom tickets, tuxedos and accessories to students experiencing financial hardship, that would otherwise be unable to attend their prom.  All the gowns, tuxedos and accessories have been donated for this program. Volunteers give their time to assist students in making their clothing selections.  Many business donate their services including: hair salons, dry cleaning services, and florists that really makes the prom night special.
