Kate Taormina CSW-I, is a Clinical Social Work Intern at Family Counseling Service. Kate completed her undergraduate work and her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada Reno. Kate has training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Kate brings prior clinical experience working with clients who have experienced depression, anxiety and trauma. Kate spent two years volunteering as an advocate for sexual assault survivors and is currently a member of the University of Nevada Social Work Alumni Chapter.
